Shipping policy
SHIPPING INFO:
• All orders are processed and shipped within three business days.
• Shipping options include USPS Ground Advantage (2-5 business days in USA), Priority Mail (1-3 business days), First Class International (2-4 weeks), and UPS Ground.
• All shipments include up to $200 of insurance and tracking, which will be emailed to you at the time we process your order. We usually process orders on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings. If you would like additional insurance for your items, please contact us before placing your order.
• If you did not receive a tracking email it is either because
1)We have not yet processed the order
2)The email was delivered to your spam folder
3)The email filled in at checkout (or by Paypal) contains a typo or alternate email address.
* The most detailed tracking option is the app used with Shop Pay purchases.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
We offer two options for international customers:
1. Orders placed through forstrangewomen.com will not include VAT, excise duties, or customs fees. Your local department or post office will contact you and require any of these duties to be paid before delivery. (DDU)
2. If you prefer the VAT to be collected at checkout please order from our Etsy shop. This may allow a faster delivery. (DDP)
• Most international orders arrive about 2 weeks after shipment, but may take up to 4 weeks.
DELIVERY ISSUES:
• If you are concerned about the delivery of your order, please check the tracking information that was emailed to you and confirm that the mailing address submitted is correct. If you cannot find your tracking email please check your spam folder.
• If your tracking says "delivered" but you can't find your package, please wait an extra day in case the carrier was not able to get to all their intended deliveries. This happens frequently. Sometimes there is also a mis-delivery or accidental pickup by another tenant which may resolve itself within a few days.
• In the case of a stolen or lost package, please contact us about filing an insurance claim. We will send you an email to submit your part of the claim and we will refund or replace up to $200 in losses. Please understand this process may take up to a month to complete. The insurance only allows claims to be filed if tracking shows that it has been missing for at least 20 days.
• In the case of weather or dangerous events, check here to find service disruption alerts. Sometimes mail service is behind due to events outside of their (and our) control.
• If for any reason a package is returned to us, we will email you and arrange to re-ship.
