This aromatic resin from the Boswellia sacra tree in Oman is considered the highest grade of frankincense, and the scent is so beautiful it is no wonder it has been highly prized for thousands of years. Just as the resin heals a tree and protects its wounds, I feel that it can do the same for our minds and bodies. Frankincense has been an integral part of spiritual and religious ceremonies across many cultures for over 5000 years. Its spiritually cleansing and emotionally healing qualities are universally recognized, and used to enhance meditation and prayer. This frankincense was carefully sourced from the Al Hajar mountains in Dhofar.
This resin can be simply kept in a special container and smelled directly, it can be tinctured or infused in oil, or it can be ground and burned on charcoal. You can even infuse drinking water or bath water with a piece. (Please make sure to research internal usage applications carefully before doing so.)
Choose a grade:
Green Royal Hojari: is considered the most prized grade of frankincense. It creates a purifying atmosphere and is reserved for deeply therapeutic and spiritual meditations. The scent has hints of pine, citrus, and eucalyptus.
White Royal Hojari: is an ethereal frankincense revered for its ability create a clarifying and uplifting sacred space. The warm notes of the White Hojari tears have a smooth presence and a light sweetness.
Najdi: is considered a lower grade of frankincense but that does not mean the scent is any less magical. This is a more commonly used resin for incense and has a deeply sweet, honey like scent with complex earthy undertones.
Please be considerate of your usage, as the sustainability of this wild harvest is only maintained if we consume it slowly and in small amounts.
