The Fallen Foliage Adornment is elegant, mysterious, and enchanting. Layers of black and gold finished brass chain drape from asymmetric vintage chandelier crystals, leading to a small glass leaf-shaped vessel. This bottle contains between 7-10 mL of French Oakmoss laced with lavender and violet in a base of jojoba oil, which can be applied as a perfume.
Oakmoss, a forest lichen, has a deep green, grounding aroma. It is a fixative that will extend and deepen other natural perfumes when layered with them as well. The scent can be described best as dark, dry, and earthy; like a leathery moss. The lavender and violet essences lift the aroma slightly and add a hypnotic depth to the dark lichen.
The length of the necklace chain on the shortest layer is about 15” with an additional 2” extender chain at the clasp to allow for variation. The longest chain layer reaches about 22 inches. This classic adornment can be worn to accentuate a v-neckline or layered over a more closed neckline.
The necklace is artfully placed inside a 3'' x 5'' black box made from recycled paper, lined with black cotton velvet, and adorned with a hand-printed gold letterpress label featuring an antique-style design.
